STADIUM CONSTRUCTION: The construction company will start bringing equipment to the Stadium this week, and work will start next week. This means there will be more construction vehicles around the CDC and Stadium areas. There will be extra traffic, so please pay attention to the flaggers and construction workers in the parking lot. Remember to drive slowly and stay alert.
Also, the walkway near the softball field, located between the Fieldhouse and the AJ building, is now closed. Do not cross any construction fences and barriers for your safety. Please remind your friends to do the same!
“I VOTED” STICKER CONTEST: AR we have so many talented artists; Let's win this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your art would be used in elections through 2027. WOW!
The Humboldt County “I Voted” Sticker Contest is open to all Humboldt County residents. Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter. Participants can submit their art into one of two categories: youth or adult. You may submit a hand drawn or digital piece of art.
Submissions will be accepted Wednesday, April 23 through Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Redwood Empire Math Tournament (REMT)
Date/Time: Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Schedule: Check-in, 2 hour long tests, lunch, one more test, Guest Speaker, Awards Ceremony.

HUMBOLDT MATH FESTIVAL
The Humboldt Math Festival is a community event to celebrate mathematics through activities, art and puzzles. It will be hosted on Saturday, April 26th at the Adorni Center from 12-4pm. This festival is sponsored by local businesses, including CR.
REDWOOD DAYS
CR and HCOE are hosting Redwood Days on campus on 4/25. Tour guides will show groups of younger students around campus. Please remember that you represent AR and should be on your TOES, respectful, responsible, and make good choices!

These events are open to students, staff, and community members, and are designed to create inclusive, supportive spaces for women+ to explore skills in the trades. No experience necessary!
Creating Spaces: DIY Workshop for Women
Intro Level: Tools of the Trade
Learn the basics of hand tools, measuring, fasteners, and power tools in a welcoming, beginner-friendly setting. You’ll build a planter to take home!

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB: Every Friday from 10:30am to 12pm (TTH5-lunch), join Environmental Club for their weekly gardening party behind the AR office. We will be pulling out invasive plants to make way for our new native plant garden which can be used for community service. Wear clothes you can work in and join us for some relaxing, low stakes gardening fun! Tools and some snacks will be provided, no experience required. CULINARY CLUB: Hello everyone, Culinary Club invites you to their poetry slam with toast and jam next Wednesday, April 30th! We know that students have been hard at work with poetry gallery preparations and we want to give you a chance to recite your poetry. No need to sign up! Bring toast, bring Jam, but most importantly bring poetry!
DANCE COMMITTEE: Get ready for an unforgettable night as we plan for this year's Prom! The theme is A Night Under the Stars, and you won't want to miss it! Join us on Friday, May 30th, from 7 PM to 11 PM at the beautiful Fortuna River Lodge. Tickets will go on sale starting Monday, April 28th, in the AR Office for just $30!
