COMMUNITY MEETING: Wednesday 1/15/25 during tier. No CR classes will be happening yet, so we are excited everyone can be there!!! Please meet your Tier teacher in front of the Theater by 12:10 p.m.
AR ZOOM INFORMATION NIGHT: AR will be hosting a Zoom Information Night on Tuesday, January 21st. The Zoom link will be posted on the website. If you have any friends or family that you think would be interested in our program, please let them know.
2025 NINTH CIRCUIT CIVICS CONTEST: You are invited to enter the 2025 Northern District of California Civics Contest. For more detail and to access the contest flyer, please click here.
Entries will be accepted beginning January 8, 2025, with a submission deadline date of March 7, 2025.

ADVISING:
SPRING STUDENT BOOK LIST FORM: The CR Booklists are due. If you cannot find your book, don't worry! Some professors may not have posted this information yet. Please submit your book lists to Gina in the Office for ordering. Download the link above or check your email for the fillable PDF.
Spring Schedules: Spring schedules are currently available to view in Aeries under “classes” which can be found in the left-hand navigation bar (courses that appear when initially logging in to Aeries on the home screen are grade books you have been enrolled in and NOT your class schedule). If any changes need to be made to your spring schedule, please email Brooke (bmartin@fuhsdistrict.net). We understand that CR schedules are subject to change and anticipate that schedule changes will occur through February 2nd (which is CR’s deadline to drop a class without a W). Please be sure to monitor your AR email account after a schedule change request has been made as this is how you will be notified of any schedule adjustments. If you have any questions about scheduling changes, please email bmartin@fuhsdistrict.net to establish an advising appointment. Here are some reminders:
Students must be scheduled for a minimum of two AR classes per day
Spring scheduling updates need to be made in your Google Calendar ASAP, including your work location during a college class period between the start of the AR semester and the start of the CR semester as well as any "open" periods you may have on Fridays.
Tier 2A and 2B students: If you drop a class, you MUST notify Brooke so she can fill any open periods in your schedule with a class. You must be in a class (AR or CR) each period of the day. You cannot have open periods.
If you would like to add a CR class to your schedule, you MUST notify Brooke to receive permission to enroll in the course.
DROP-IN ADVISING: Brooke will be available for drop-in advising to address any schedule issues during lunch and during Tier time by appointment (please email both your Tier teacher and Brooke in a single email to request a meeting).
CR Important Dates:
Friday, January 17th: Last day to register for your first CR class
Friday, January 24th: Last day to make adjustments to your CR schedule
Sunday, February 2nd: Last day to drop a class without a W
Friday, March 28th: Last day to drop a class with a W.

Quotes must be 200 characters or less, school appropriate, and attributed to the author. Portraits must be submitted as jpegs. If two pictures and a quote are not submitted by 2/20/25 at 3pm it will list you as "Not pictured- name"
